There's a lot of these "how to write a pitch deck" posts around, but I like this one the best. A lot of such posts emphasise the mechanics (need a slide on this, that, the other), whereas the importance of "a story" comes through much stronger here. My experience is that the story is critically important and the "yes" slide probably the most important one. If investors get the yes slide, they will be interested and may even cut you some slack on the rest of the deck. Once someone's brain is emotionally thinking "this just makes sense" they will be less critical of everything else. On the other hand, if they don't get the "yes" slide or you don't have one, it's going to be up hill all the way! A good post, I like it!
